Overview

Video editing is the process of editing raw footage to create a wonderful news story or news content to share with audiences/ viewers on various media platforms. Video editing can also be used to merge audio and video content to educate viewers on various subjects.

A three-month certificate course in Video Editing will help students learn both creative and technical skills to collect and edit recorded content and then create a visual treat which is both engaging and entertaining. Students will be trained to find images that are of good quality, clips and angles to make a news story to communicate and convey either to their audience or customers. The course will teach students to review raw video footage to help choose the perfect shot list, use editing software and techniques to edit, add dialogues, sound, music, graphics etc to get that perfect final product.
